Instagram Comment & Reels Exporter · last updated 4 October 2026

This extension runs entirely in your own browser. There is no account, no server and no tracking. We (hammadi.dev) do not collect, receive, store or sell any of your data.

What the extension does

When you click Export, the extension reads the page you are viewing in your own logged-in Instagram tab — the comments of a post or reel, or the list of reels on a profile — and saves the result as a CSV file on your computer. All of this happens locally in your browser using your own Instagram session. Nothing is sent to us or to any third-party server.

Data we collect

None. The extension has no backend. It does not transmit the exported data, your Instagram session, your identity or your browsing anywhere. The CSV is created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.

Permissions

• activeTab / scripting — to read the Instagram page you are actively viewing when you press Export.
• tabs — to find your Instagram tab and open the profile you want reels from.
• downloads — to save the exported CSV file to your computer.
• Host access to www.instagram.com — the only site the extension operates on.

What we don't do

• No account, login or password.
• No analytics, cookies or fingerprinting.
• No selling or sharing of any data.
• We never ask for your Instagram credentials.

Scope of data

The extension reads only public information already shown on the page you have open. Private accounts cannot be read, and the account you look up is not notified.
